Beauty begins within and shines without. It is confident and courageous. Beauty is generous and compassionate. It's joyful, vivacious, and inspiring. And... beauty is contagious.
Perhaps there is a beautiful person in your life who has touched you, leaving an indelible print on your heart... drawing out your inner beauty. If so, we want to hear from you!
We're seeking photographs of "beauty-in-action". In other words, we want real photographs of people in our community whose beauty pervades their surroundings and makes this such a wonderful place to live. We would like to see them sharing a moment with a friend (like you!) or doing something courageous, kind, or simply enjoying life. The photos should be suitable (in both content and format) for framing, as finalists will be displayed on our wall of beauty (read further for conditions and specifications).
GRAND PRIZE
Grand Prize is a FotoFacial Package for you and your beautiful loved one valued at $1,350 each, which can be applied to another service at Renew Aesthetics.
All other finalists will be eligible for a one-time 50% discount on a Hair Removal/FotoFacial/Refirme package of their choice.
HOW TO ENTER
Submit your digital photo in .jpeg format (as large as possible) along with a paragraph of 250 words or less that relays why you think this person is beautiful and how his/her beauty is contagious. Submit via email to beth@renewkentuckiana.com. Please be sure to include your full name and address, phone number, and the name of your friend. Submissions must be received no later than midnight, December 31st, 2007. Winners will be announced on January 15th, 2008 via email and/or phone and will be posted on the web site.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You must own or have license to the copyright of the photo (in other words... professional studios tend to retain rights to reprints of their photographs and therefore we can't use those). By submitting a photograph to this contest, you are affirming that you are entitled to use the photo according to federal copyright laws and accept all liability associated with it's use.
It's hard to imagine that anyone would not be immensely flattered by his/her friend's submission to a contest like this - but the outcome of this contest may result in a small to moderate amount of publicity as well as a reproduction of the photograph and re-print of your description for use in the office, in marketing materials, and local media. So you might consider discussing the entry with your loved one. In the absence of expressed written consent to use any or all parts of your entry from you and your friend, we will not be able to award the prize to either of you.
ELIGIBILITY
Contestants must be of legal age and residents of Oldham or a surrounding county. Grand Prize winners will be required to provide identification and tax information. We encourage diversity among entries. Contestants may range from 18-118. They can be male or female and from any/all ethnicities. Beauty does not discriminate... beauty is contagious!
Although laser/IPL skin procedures are very safe, there are contraindications based on medical conditions or medications. In the event that a winner is medically excluded from all of the procedures offered at Renew Aesthetics, we can not award an alternate compensation (such as cash or skin care products). Under these circumstances, the winner may re-sell his/her package to another individual, but we accept no liability stemming from nor will we act as a broker for such transactions. Unclaimed prizes will revert back to the aesthetic center after a period of thirty days.
